“Do you have the patience to wait until your mud settles and the water is clear?”

― Lao Tzu, Tao Te Ching

Through asanas we change the body to change the mind.

My own yoga practice is very personal, yet very communal - a means of going inward to be able to reach out. I love sharing that.

I received my Yoga Alliance 200-hour training through the incredible teachers at Down Under School of Yoga in Boston, studying asana, alignment, methodology, sequencing, anatomy, physiology, and diversity and inclusivity. I recently completed a mentorship program with Katonah Yoga, studying with incredible teachers including KY founder, Nevine Michann, and I am now completing work towards my certification to teach Katonah Yoga. Nevine Michaan describes Katonah Yoga as "A syncretic hatha yoga practice that incorporates classical hatha yoga with Daoist principles, geometry, magic, mythology, metaphor, and imagination in a practical framework designed to potentiate personal and communal well-being.” I mean, how can you not be curious to explore that?!

Students will learn asanas, pranayama techniques, and meditation, and will always be encouraged to move at their own pace.
